Thursday, March 8, 2008On behalf of the board of directors, the staff and the patients of the Free Clinic of Central Virginia, a big thank you to Lynchburg and the surrounding area for supporting our fourth annual Downtown Lynchburg Loft Tour on Feb. 23. The tour raised more than $8,000! This money will be used to support the ongoing medical, dental and pharmacy services that are offered to the uninsured and underinsured in our area. We would especially like to thank the loft residents for opening their homes for this event. It was wonderful to see the creative uses of space and color. Our volunteers helped supply facts and answer questions concerning the lofts when they could. Many on the tour were surprised to find a fun, thriving community of Downtown Lynchburg dwellers.
Thank you again for your support. We already have several lofts lined up for next year, so we’ll look forward to seeing you on the 2009 Downtown Lynchburg Loft Tour.
