PRESS RELEASE
The Free Clinic of Central Virginia has been awarded a $15,000 grant from The CENTRA Foundation. This gift is to specifically provide expanded general and specialty medical care during the current slow economy and high unemployment period. Since every $1 given to the Free Clinic in 2008 provided $12 worth of services, this particular allocation will enable the clinic to give $180,000 worth of additional services to needy Central Virginians.
