EDITH LIGHT APPOINTED TO FREE CLINIC STAFF
Edith "Edie" Light has been appointed to the full-time position of Special Events/Development Coordinator at the Free Clinic of Central Virginia. She has previously served as a legislative aide position with former Delegate Preston Bryant, and she has twenty-seven years of public relations and event planning, and fundraising work in a variety of other work settings.
Ms. Light earned a B.A. from Radford University and recently completed a program at the Sorenson Leadership Institute at the University of Virginia.
Edie Light is married to Attorney R. Chambliss Light, Jr. , who was a founding and ten year member of the Free Clinic Board of Directors. They have a son, Trey, at Christopher Newport College and a daughter, Paige at the University of Virginia.
