FREE CLINIC OBTAINS TWO GRANTS
The Free Clinic of Central Virginia, Inc at 1016 Main Street in Lynchburg has recently received two grants from local funding sources. The Retail Merchants Foundation awarded $3,000 to the clinic to be used to defray general operating expenses.
The Junior League of Lynchburg has committed a $1,000 grant to support the clinic's daytime dental program.
The Free Clinic provides medical, dental, and pharmaceutical services for eligible, low income residents from the cities of Lynchburg and Bedford and the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, Campbell and parts of Nelson and Pittsylvania. It relies on contributions to provide these much needed services.
