BURRUSS & PLYMALE FOUNDATIONS DONATE TO FREE CLINIC.
The Free Clinic of Central Virginia is pleased to announce another $10,000 annual unrestricted gift from the Burruss Family Foundation. This gift, when combined with others over the last 10 years from the Burruss Family, brings this local foundation's support of the clinic to almost $75,000!!!.
The Plymale Foundation, (Wachovia Bank in Richmond), has also just made an unrestricted $7,500 donation to the Free Clinic for general operating expenses. This is their largest one-time gift since donating $5,000 in each of the years 2005 and 2006.
Donations like these are really worth 10-12 times their actual value to the clinic due to the ongoing over $3 million worth of volunteer support by all physician, dentist, and pharmacist service providers, over $2 million in donated medications, and over $1 million in donated lab work, testing etc from Centra Health and other area providers.
