FREE CLINIC NAMES ITS 2010-2011 BOARD OFFICERS AND MEMBERSThe Free Clinic of Central Virginia has announced the appointment of its officers for 2010-2011 (April 1-March 31).
They are:
President - William "Sandy" Carrington;
Vice-President - Dr. James Wright;
Secretary - Dr. Peggy Berger;
Treasurer - Stuart Turille;
Past President - Dr. Augustus "Gus"Petticolas.
Dr. Dean Gianakos will continue as Medical Director.The Board of Directors has expanded its membership to its bylaws maximum of 27 by adding the following new members, who will take office immediately: Georgia Delbridge; Dr. Therese "Sam" Namenek; June Rose; and Jesse Seiferth. Initially, they will each serve different length terms in order to have 9 board members in each class.
The following Board members were reappointed to new three year terms from April 2010 through March 2013: Fred Blanchard; David Gardner; Paul Kolodny; Charles "Chuck" Haney; Connie Shannon; and Stuart Turille. Juanita Gray will also serve a new one-year term.
