FREE CLINIC RECEIVES GRANTS FROM THREE LOCAL FOUNDATIONS
The Free Clinis has recently received annual grants from three locally based foundations. The Burruss Foundation awarded $3,000 to the Free Clinic itself and an additional $5,000 to the MedsHelp at the Free Clinic Program.
The Plymale Foundation, which is a operated by Wachovia Bank, awarded a $5,000 grant to be used for general operations.
Finally, the Retail Merchants Association supported the Free Clinic with a $3,000 donation.
Support from Central Virginia individuals, foundations, churches, and organizations has always been a major component of the Free Clinic's operating funds.
